Kerry LeVielle (she/they) is a queer filmmaker originally from Schenectady NY and is currently based in Brooklyn. By way of semi-autobiographical docu-fiction, their work investigates the emotional dissonance experienced while coming-of-age in circumstances of abandonment.

Kerry is the Silver Sun Foundation’s Spring 2023 Artist-in-Residence. She’s an alum of the Sundance Ignite Fellowship and Creative Culture fellowship. Her two short films Playhouse and Partners in Crime were nominated for Best Narrative Short at NFFTY 2019 and 2020. She is currently developing the script for her first feature film Upstate.
